Inventor of the Year Award

On Friday 17th October, 2008 in the Burswood’s Grand Ballroom the hard work and innovation of Fusion Books was recognised as they were awarded ‘Runner Up’ in WA’s Inventor of the Year, ‘Ready for Market’ category. As a result Fusion Books was featured on Channel 7’s WA Our Inventors program and in several newspapers along with winning a monetary prize.

The Inventor of the Year Award Program provides an excellent opportunity for companies to showcase their inventions and innovations which will provide real advantages for consumers throughout Australia and the world.

Fusion Books Online Yearbook creation system, was recognised by the competitions’ judges comprised of market leaders in innovation and enterprise, as a product that benefits both Private and Public education sectors by saving them time and money while providing them with a platform to create great yearbooks.

The awards Minister for Science and Innovation Troy Buswell said the finalists represented the State’s emerging talent from the science and innovation sector.

“These inventions help to contribute to establishing a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in WA,” he said.
